MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WDVM) — First there were taxis, then Uber and Lyft came and revolutionized ridesharing as we know it. Now, there’s another company on the scene called rubiRides, which is a safe, trusted rideshare for minors.

Founder and CEO Noreen Butler developed rubiRides to offer a safe rideshare service that she could use for her own children as a single mom. The Bethesda-based company, which is also available for folks with disabilities and seniors, just made its official launch this month.

In an effort to provide more comfortable options, there are few companies that are dedicated to safe, reliant and direct transportation of senior citizens. RubiRides, a DC-based rideshare service is committed to transporting senior citizens.

In this episode, we’ll be talking to three founders of ridesharing companies for kids.
